Spring into Better Hearing: Tips for Hearing Aid Users This Season
Welcome the Season with Clearer Sound As spring brings sunshine,
Also referred to as, “remote care,” tele-audiology is the delivery of audiological services via phone or internet. This means that we are able to provide some services virtually, with no in-person office visit. Virtual appointments are a great service option during the COVID-19 pandemic, but also if you live far away or have limited mobility that makes an office visit difficult.
Oticon RemoteCare and myPhonak are new telehealth options that allow our office to connect virtually to our patients through free mobile apps from any location with Wi-Fi or mobile data. This allows your audiologist to make hearing aid adjustments remotely. Some services still require in-person visits like cerumen removal, ear impressions, hearing tests, initial fittings, etc. However, if you are needing hearing aid adjustments or a follow-up appointment to check on your progress, try scheduling a virtual appointment with our office today.
